People see me as a man of passion. I don’t go with the flow for the convenience of others and I’m not one to be tied up in knots. Life is for living, and I live my life my way!

I love food, good wine, chocolate, people and what ever I am doing at the moment. Oh and guys are quite important too!

I am a passionate gardener and “Plants’ Man” and have been since I was a child. I’m more of a tender perennial than a hardy shrub - an active hands on gardener rather than a tourist in other folks gardens. I love looking at plants and gardens, but my passion is growing them and seeing mighty oaks that have come from acorns that I have planted.

As a Buddhist I study widely on the subject as well as other philosophical, religious and spiritual paths. I do not see them as a way to redemption but as activate guides on how to live and how to be happy now.

I’m not a happy clappy type and don’t sit about in a Zen haze. Sometimes it is necessary to be angry as a Buddhist, and that one shocks many folks!

Buddhism is about living and being happy as you are here and now. Nirvana is not over the Horizon - it’s where your are standing right now.

I enjoy working with computers and systems in many forms, taking part in many web forums dealing with open source software and it’s development - working to improve the programs offered and to make Quality IT systems and programs available to everyone.

I also enjoy photography - using the natural world as my muse! Plants, wild places, landscapes and wildlife. I also enjoy taking action shots and unusual and quirky sights.
