There is a quick answer and a long one!

The quick answer in that it’s easier to type than “TheHorticulturalHomosexual”

The long answer deals with bigotry, philosophy, Buddhism, the lives of Ghandi, Nelson Mandela and Dr Martin Luther King and how they have worked in my life.

Many terms of abuse can be changed into a badge of honour and used to empower. That is what I did when faced with being called;

“..that blooming pouf!”

Like many others before me, I turned a call of disparagement into a badge of honour and tuned hated to laughter.

It is now so easy to tell when others are being abusive - the tone they use gives them away. As a Buddhist I turn Poison into Medicine and the abuser is forced to address their own thinking and behaviour.

Being part of the crowd is not the way I live - and if I have to stand alone, then so be it!

And before you ask, it can be spelt “Poof” Or “Pouf”.

I prefer ”Pouf”... it’s just so much more Continental!
